2. What data we collect

We collect personal data that you provide directly, as well as some data collected automatically when you use the Website.

Information you provide:

  • Account and order data — when you register an account or place an order: your name, email address, billing address, and (for business customers) company name and VAT number.
  • Payment information — card payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details on our servers; we receive only confirmation of payment and limited transaction data.
  • Contact form submissions — if you contact us through a form on the Website, we collect the information you submit (such as your name, email address, and message).

Information collected automatically:

  • Technical and security data — server logs and security tools may record your IP address, request times, and similar technical details to keep the Website secure and operational.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Google (Google Analytics 4) — website analytics.
  • Our email/hosting infrastructure — for sending transactional emails and operating the Website.
  • Professional advisors and authorities — accountants, and public authorities where we are legally required to disclose data (for example, tax authorities).

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where that happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Order, invoice, and accounting records — retained for the period required by Slovenian and EU tax/accounting law (generally up to 10 years).
  • Account data — retained while your account is active; you may request deletion at any time (subject to records we must keep by law).
  • Contact form messages — retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Analytics data — retained according to the retention settings of the relevant analytics tool.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to function, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the Website is used.

  • Essential cookies are necessary for the Website and shop to work (for example, keeping items in your cart or keeping you logged in). These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies — we use our own first-party analytics and Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and improve the Website. Where required by law, these are only set after you give consent.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and through any cookie-consent banner provided on the Website. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Website works.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;

  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”), where applicable;

  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@maxicore.ai. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (normally one month).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovenian supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec), if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

8. How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls, and server-level security measures. Payment card data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider and is not stored on our servers.
